Confound, verb, to confuse, bewilder, or amaze; He tried to confound us by telling different versions of his plan

Congruent, adjective, agreeing or corresponding; matching; coinciding; It is easy to recognize the congruent themes in the two plays.

Entail, verb, to cause or involve by necessity or as a consequence; to require as a part of; Success will usually entail a great amount of work.

Enthralled, verb, fascinated; enchanted; captivated; The beauty of the scene enthralled him.

Recluse, noun, one who lives shut off from others; a hermit; The old man was such a recluse that no one knew when he died.
